Hi,
Just joined the forum. Been away from motorcycling for over 30 years. Just bought myself a new triumph street triple R 765.
Hello, good evening and a very warm welcome to the best Triumph-oriented forum on the net! Joe will be along dreckly to ask for pictures - a request with which I wholly concur!
Have to say, you picked a GREAT machine on which to return to the TRIUMPH fold but, be very careful - things have moved on considerably over the last 30 years …
1994 Speed Triple 750 84hp; 476lbs (the 900 boasted 98hp and would be slightly heavier)
202n Street Triple 765R 116hp; 370lbs
Be safe out there!
Hi and welcome. Great come back bike
Hi and welcome.
Welcome in.
As stated, photos are always appreciated. Where are you based? Uk, Europe, USA, Oz etc? Presumably getting a 765, you have access to some nice twisties to lay a bit of rubber down?
Hi Bully and welcome
Welcome to our little corner of the net!
Hi and welcome…
Thank you for all the welcomes I tried to post pictures but Imgur was playing up last night. Tried to post pics and an error occurred saying I can only post one embedded link as a new member.
It a feature to protect the forum from wrong 'uns rather then an error.
Ok, thank you.
I fitted a INNOVV K6 dash cam last night and a belly pan this morning.
Hi and welcome to the forum
Welcome to the forum. I also had a 30 year lay off from riding ending with the purchase of my Ducati in 01. Now I also have a 21 Striple R. You will be astounded by the bike’s performance so take it easy.
Yeah it has been eye opening at times. What a bike though
As I understand it, if you get stopped by the law they are entitled to examine dashcam equipment installed on the bike. Cameras on your person they are not allowed to inspect. So dashcams can be really helpful but they can also dump you in the sh1t.
I use my insta360 X4 mounted where it can’t see my speedo.
Hiya welcome
Cool bike. Does that gold coloured piece of metal bolted to the Brembo Caliper house the ABS sensor?
Interesting nevertheless.
Looks like a RoadLok, a disk lock brand that mounts permanently on the calliper.
It’s a Roadlok disc lock.
