Getting new boots for the Multistrada. The Pirelli Scorpion Trail II’s were completely shot after our Jerez trip and whilst they have been really good I thought I would give Dunlop Roadsmart IV’s a go as they have a similar profile but are more road focussed. Only time will tell
Had them on my K16 the last time. Wont have them again because they squared off very quickly. No issues with grip, wet or dry.
That’s interesting, I am just on my second set on the Street Triple and like them because they don’t seem to square off very quickly. I had loads of mileage out of them. Granted they’re on a light bike and I am a fairly light rider in the grand scheme of things. I also find them really confidence - inspiring in the wet. I do only have the experience of Pirelli Diablo Rosso 3s on that bike prior to my first set of Roadsmart IVs though.
On my K16 I am normally 2 up, so the opposite end of the spectrum to yours. I’ve had Metzlers, Avons and Bridgestones on my K16’s and never really suffered from them squaring off until they are almost worn out. The Dunlops squared off within a couple of thousand mile.
