There’s always an element of risk being out on two wheels but there should be some law of the universe giving a bit more protection to those Good Souls on the blood bikes.

I hope the blood rider pulls through and makes a full recovery. As for the car driver I hope they throw the book at him and he is never allowed to drive again. This punishment should not just be applied to him, but all drivers who cause accidents with bikes.

Unfortunately this was not the first for BB Wales.6 months ago one of their volunteers was killed whilst on duty. I hope to God he pulls through.

The worst possible outcome. It’s tragic for his family and friends and immensely tragic for Blood Bikes Wales as this is their second volunteer rider fatality in a matter of months.
The car driver was arrested but has since been bailed.
RIP Andrew. Ride safe everyone.
