Weather fabulous for the second day, so wheeled the Guzzi out for some fresh air. Took it out last week for a short run but it’s spent winter in the garage whilst the Tiger took on the “hack” duty.
Lovely run down to Scarborough via the Whitby road - sadly already starting to get busy with caravans and camper vans, but best avoided on a bank holiday weekend anyway.
First time at the cafe on Olivers Mount - pretty decent steak and onion sandwich with a view over the coast or of your bike depending how you feel.
Had to try a lap of the course, obviously. There’s a very steep section after the right hand bend.

That looks gorgeous in every way; I stared wistfully out of the office window at the sunshine wishing I at least had the commute home, but hadn’t wanted to ride in this morning at -2c.

Yes, I woke to white roofs and a frosty car but it soon disappeared and temperature at lunchtime was up to 12c. Getting cold again now though

Is it a pay to ride circuit?
No, it’s a public highway and it’s only used for racing about five times a year so you can go round as many times as you like for free.
Watch out for Mrs Goggins in her Honda Jazz and Range Rover boy not quite hitting the apex though
