Great run from Alnwick via a B road to the A68.
Not as warm (18 degrees) and a bit cloudy.
The bloke in the kilt is still here selling tat!

Big "Borders breakfast " at the Abbey cafe in Jedburgh.
Quick wander around the town, more of a slow walk after that breakfast
Carried on up the A68 until the B6368 and headed for St Marys Loch and the familiar cafe - plenty of people in the water.
Final leg home via Kelso
Jedburgh’s a nice little town but the road in and out is festooned with bloody speed cameras.
Yes, getting like that isn’t it?
At least they’re easy to spot with their red and yellow stripes!
I’ve noticed that there are quite a lot of fixed speed cameras in the Borders region and some in Ayrshire (including average speed cameras on the A77, which are a real pain), but none here in Dumfries & Galloway, where there is just a mobile camera van, usually deployed somewhere on the A75 or A76. I suppose it’s a legacy from the days of separate police forces, although it’s all under Police Scotland now.
Great photos which invoked many fond memories of past trips @stevelovatt . Thanks for taking the time to post.
