Photo timestamp wrong on my iPhone

Has anyone else seen this? I noticed today that three photos I took last week that show a digital clock have the wrong timestamp in the photo’s metadata. It’s out by 20-30 minutes.

I’ve searched the web but can’t find anyone who knows why this can happen, just people answering the wrong question - how to change a photo timestamp afterwards.

This might help

Like the reply above  (Sorry, couldn’t resist, no offence meant.)

Yes, most helpful indeed. Thank goodness for the forum.

Probably got your phone set to Cornish time?
(We are about 20-30 minutes behind GMT/UTC)

More like 10 years behind

Yeah, sadly Cornwall is catching up. :slightly_smiling_face:

If it was on Cornish time all the pictures would be time stamped as ‘dreckly’.
