Potential Art Selling Side Hustle

I am not trying to sell anything here but just want to test the water against this group if I may.

My Auntie’s late friend was the artist and illustrator Joan Charleton and she has asked me if I want to sell some prints once I have retired. The prints were produced 15+ years ago but never sold.

Do any of you have any tips for low volume sales without needing to register as a sole trader or business?

Here’s a taste of the art that I have shared using Google Photos www.joancharleton.com

WARNING :warning: There are some tasteful nudes! :see_no_evil_monkey:

Cheers

She is pretty talented… round of applause etc.

I think it depends on how much gear you’re shifting… and the intent of your selling (getting rid of your own personal gear; side hustle; or your main gig) there’s quite a bit of info on line… I know I used to have to declare my band interests when I was playing) but I can’t seem to persuade HMRC that I’m not gigging atm :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

This is eBay’s take!

Thank you :folded_hands:

It’s a minefield trying to determine when to declare but I did just do the HMRC checker for additional income. My interpretation was that I could potentially earn £1000 per year profit without having to declare?
