I am having issues getting the gas tank to line up with the three attachment points. I have checked for any item blocking below and can’t see any reason. I am hoping someone else has had this issue and conquered this problem.
This does happen because the modern fuels we use attack/expand the plastic. I’ve almost had this problem on my 2005 Speed Triple, but was warned and refitted the fuel tank within a few days. Even then the effect was noticable. I’ve seen suggested putting the fuel tank in a freezer to try and shrink it… Good luck!

I will certainly give it a go, I will just conquer the impatience and aggravation of dealing with a stubborn gas tank.
