No, first is off whitey, second is off blackie.
I was never really happy with the cylinder head on the first one, so when I found a better one …
The second is originally off of the dismantled chop and I don’t think the rings were ever bedded in properly on those bigger bore 9:1 pistons (it vibrated quite a bit when given the beans) so oil is finding it’s way out of the breather. I’ll check the valves too while I’m in there.
It may just be the scheme of things with the bigger bore so may have to route the breather back into the oil in frame.
I’ve another trumpet project in the corner but I think these are the last ones…
They’re both beautiful bikes for sure (I think you know my favourite )… the fact you’re ensuring they’re usable is testament to your skill as a bike builder. Sure would be a shame to end a lineage of triumph customs/restorations that’s come out of your hands…
