Thanks for posting that, it’s timely info for me assuming my bike get fixed for my trip Friday. Think I knew about the X when researching things a few months ago, but I had forgotten again.
That’s a good point.
In France we have “la priorité a droite” that is not existing somewhere else.
If a cross road or incoming road has no sign of priority, the “priorité a droite applies”.
Basically, you have to stop and let pass any vehicle coming from the right side.
We have that too, wit a few exceptions. For instance, if driving on a metalled road a vehicle coming from the right on a gravelled road does not have priority.
