I’ve just found out that Paul Sample, creator of biking legend Ogri, died a few days ago.

No one drew quite like him, it was always the nerdy detail in the background that lifted his comic strip above and beyond… what a shame!

Seeing Ogri again reminded me of another character from the same era.
Who remembers Jack Shit? Quite an appropriate question perhaps for some of us being the wrong side of 50
