Roadskin Overtrousers

Has anyone used these?

Looking for something to pack under the seat for upcoming Scotland trip in case of showers.

Not used those but I have the Richa something warrior, they let water in after not many uses so I wouldn’t buy them again. Shame as they seemed heavy material and good quality, I normally rate richa too.

I had the same with a pair of Richa trousers, seems to be a common problem.

Seems to be a common problem in general - I’ve not to date had overtrousers which did not leak in the crotch area after a bit…

We do get the odd shower very occasionally.

I’ve got the Richa Rain Warrior jacket and trousers and can honestly say I’ve never got wet or cold while wearing them :ok_hand:

I bought a pair of Richa waterproof over trousers before a TT trip.
It started persisting down on the M6, got the trousers out and the zip failed first time I used them . Never bought anything else from them.

I’ve taken a punt and ordered the Roadskins. Thanks for the replies
Hopefully they will remain unused for a while :crossed_fingers:

Think it should be a pair of bike jeans in case of 1/2 hour of ‘unexpected’ heat and sun!

Looking at the forecast you’re right

Sometimes you shouldn’t look, it’s like watching the toxic news on tv to expect a happy event :roll_eyes::rofl::rofl:

Yep, I don’t look anymore till the night before. Weather forecasts these days are about as much use as a yoyo to a midget

Agreed! They can’t even predict yesterdays weather correctly! :joy:
