I’ve started filling in the consultation form already.
This usually means that the decision has already been made and the ‘consultation’ is just a box ticking exercise

The only consolation is that the police don’t have the resources to enforce such a limit on so many roads.

20mph limits sprouting all over the place in Cornwall in recent months, never found any consultation or people that actually want it. Likewise enforcement is fortunately thin on the ground.
