Seaways Cafe

As we were on to our 5th sunny day in a row, I decided to take a run down to Seaways in East Yorkshire - about one and a half hours on mainly B roads.

Here we are in the Howardian AONB, basically the Castle Howard estate. You can just see the house through the trees on one stretch of road and the area is full of monuments and follies.

Sadly I lost the sun and the temperature dropped enough to make me regret choice of jacket and jeans. Also Seaways was almost deserted, which is very unusual. (It was packed on Thursday apparently). Good ham egg and chips though.

Back home via Malton with a coffee stop in Helmsley. Market day so no parking in the square today. Found a cheeky spot up the road though.

This is Thomas the Bakers, every biker who stops in Helmsley heads for here!

If you want to splash a bit more cash you could try this place.
