Spain in May

Been a busy bee these last few evenings, getting a trip to Spain organised. Originally planned doing a route along the Pyrenees but so many hotels are closed early May, so change of plan. Done them enough already, really. I’ll go straight through the middle, booked stops in a couple of old towns, Palencia and Daroca, and get to the apartment fairly directly. I’ll be leaving the bike there for quite some time, possibly until next year, might get some midwinter riding in when it’s total cack in Blighty. Certainly it’s going to be handy when we go across in the summer, going for longer now I’m working less. Ferry on May 7th, not flying back until 16th so plenty of chance for a few day trips or overnighters from the flat if I feel so inclined. :)

So close yet so far, I’m on the ferry four days later.

Sounds like you have this year well planned out Alan. Good to hear you are working less this days, leaving more time to enjoy life. :sunglasses:

Well, l will be at the flat May 10 to 15. East coast, town called Vinaros. Keep it in mind, some nice rides around me :slightly_smiling_face:

At Stansted now waiting for the big bird. My son drove the scenic route and had a little walk  l think this is Pico de Aneta, highest point in the Pyrenees

Yes thank you for the donation :+1:

Where are you going on your cruise?

I’m travelling with two friends and we have accommodation booked in the Picos de Europa for then. The plan after that is to head west, unless there’s really bad weather and going south avoids it.
