I have a speed triple on a 58 plate, fitted fresh battery/charged battery last week, since then the dash lights are permanently on even without the key. Nothing else works, indicators starter etc, checked fuses, relays, removed tank and air box checked connection on ignition wiring all good, even with plug connection disconnected the dash lights still illuminate when battery connected, any one of you wonderful people out there any ideas?? TIA
Hi and welcome….. It sounds like you have tried a lot of the obvious things without any joy lol. Given what you have done only thing I can think of is check the earth on the battery and back to the frame?

Check the wiring near the headstock as they are know to wear through. If you put the old battery back on, does it do the same?
Suspected wiring near headstock, am going to strip back the loom from ignition switch to connector, battery makes no difference, thanks for your reply
