Travel the Duke’s Pass from Aberfoyle and at the end of the road you have a choice of routes. Turn right for Callander, a tourist town with plenty of shops, cafe’s and restaurants, where bike parking by the river is a popular meeting point, or turn left heading towards the great biking routes around Loch Earn, Killin and Loch Tay.
This little cafe is a few miles from the left turn, on the banks of Loch Lubnaig for coffee and snacks, with free motorcycle parking beside the cafe and good clean toilets… always handy to know, at my age anyway!
Lochside benches give you somewhere to sit and watch the canoes, paddleboarders and wild water swimmers in this deep and chilly loch.
