The Labour Party oxymoron? 🤔

With Louise Haigh (transport secretary) vocally supporting the individual’s choice to boycott a company with historically shitty employment practices being rebuked publicly by the PM… should the Labour Party consider changing its name?
(The Labour Party was formed in 1900 as a coalition between trade unions and socialist intellectuals with the aim of securing representation for the working class in parliament.)

I recently wrote to my (Labour) MP to express my disappointment in this government, and told her l couldn’t really see the difference between Hunt and Reeves. From now on l’m sticking with the party most aligned with my personal viewpoint-the Whigs. They rebranded themselves into the Liberal Party. From Blair on l view Labour as pink tories really. But maybe that’s their only route to office. We saw how Corbyn and Foot before him went…
