The Langdales

My regular riding buddy on his Versys 300, and I on his V Strom 250 had a stunning ride from home up over to Coniston, up the East side of the lake and over Blea Yarn to the Langdales. Absolutely beautiful day in a quieter part of the Lakes. The road up to the tarn has recently been tarmacked so was lovely (mostly )
Brew in Brambles Cafe in the Langdales then back through Bowness, Lyth Valley and Grange over Sands.

Back in Ulverston we called in at Tanks Classics (get all your Vellocette things here :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:) where Tank wanted some help with 3D modelling to update some original factory drawings. I may have accidentally found a part time job

Brilliant part of the country. Saved the cafe on google maps for future reference. Coming over to Bolton-le-Sands this week sometime, probably Tuesday as I might call in at Wildlife Oasis Cafe bike night. Hopefully get chance for a run up into the Lakes

I would leave the Fireblade at home though! Some of the roads are a bit iffy :slightly_smiling_face:
