Sorry for the delay; I have been away for a few days.
The boots are from Sportsbikeshop and I would say they are true to size. They do them in a choice of a few colours.
What a good idea for a present!!

I’m currently looking for motorcycle pants and have been really impressed with the jacket I got from https://pandomoto.com/blog/product-by-tag/slim-fit-kevlar-motorcycle-jeans/ . Does anyone have recommendations for good motorcycle pants? I’m looking for something that offers solid protection, comfort, and style.
RST fan myself, have a few pairs and find them great on and off the bike. I wouldn’t trust them to be waterproof though. But a packable pair of waterproof over-trousers should do the trick if you think you might see rain, on tour for example.
It’s always interesting to see what gear people wear. My usual gear, especially on longer rides and trips away was full textile - Richa jacket, RST trousers and RST Paragon 2 boots with a couple of pairs of armoured jeans for more casual days.
Those jeans have now become my goto trousers - one pair are Grinfactor (now rebranded as Roadskin, I think), the others are Oxford. I must admit I don’t use the knee armour as it feels clumsy walking around, but the hip armour is still in there. The Richa jacket is fine, with built in elbow, shoulder and back armour.
For boots I’ve really digressed from the norm, having tried on a number of biker “ankle” boots, I’ve ended up with US Army jungle boots from an Army/Navy store! They aren’t too chunky, are comfortable, and just look like normal black boots walking around…
I’ve also just bought a pair of leather “shorty” gloves… the casual look is definitely creeping in!
Have a look at the Roadskin range, good quality and price
