I started work in Glasgow in 1970 and got 3/-, then a year later when we went decimal, 15p luncheon vouchers - in a nearby self-service restaurant I could get pie, beans and chips and a drink for my 15p voucher. Healthy lunch, eh?! :crazy_face:

1998 I could go to Littlewoods in town, buy and 8 piece breakfast, pot of tea and toast. For £1.99.
Sit there and enjoy it, then have a fag with my 2nd cup of tea. Watch the world go by.

We were at a beach restaurant today and the mixed grill was huge. I couldn’t help but laugh at the last part of the grill description…
