Just done my good deed for today. This morning at the Waitrose check out I was behind an old lady in the queue. Her bill came to £56.83 but when she counted out all her change she only had just under £50. I thought she was probably someone’s Nan and I’d like to think someone would have helped my Nan out in that situation. She didn’t want me to help her but I insisted, and in no time we had all her shopping back on the shelves…
Just reading a test of the 200bhp BMW M1000XR and a couple of comments made me laugh -
“You just sit there… twist the throttle… and potentially go straight to prison” 
“The acceleration was so immense my brain seized like a cheap two-stroke” 
Or straight to the morgue 
There can’t be that many with the skills and experience needed to ride these 1L IL4s with 200 hp plus. I used to have the sweats waiting to see if an NIP landed through the letterbox when I had my Blade in 1995 so christ knows what these beasts are like on the road🙈
You don’t need a superbike any more to attract a NIP these days. There are bloody cameras everywhere, either fixed or vans and police with handhelds cameras.
Not massively a fan of “average speed” cameras either
