Oh, man - 18 years old, Aviemore in the 70’s, the centre with swimming pool, cinema, ice rink, go karts, dancing (live bands…. I remember seeing Juicy Lucy, September ‘71!) and swimming in the chilly waters of Loch Morlich! Lunch in the Pinewood Restaurant (behind the osprey below)!
We still go there, although the centre is basically gone, replaced with a big, posh, expensive shop. Morlich is still chilly!
