Nice one Wim, enjoy your new bike, it looks like you prefer white
You’ve bought the perfect bike for that kind of trip
I do Ade, as you’ve obviously seen the others are too!
I think so Neal. The prospect of having to do that on the speed triple was a tad daunting…
Chicken!
How far a trip is that?
@Dawsy I reckon about 6000 kilometres… I know, sissy…
Nice! Should I look for that number plate in Scotland?
Not quite yet James - Dolomites and balkans first I’m afraid…
Pah…. It’s like a tart’s handbag!!!
(Only joking, and I’m not jealous at all!!! Enjoy… oh wait, you already are! )
How cool is that?One of my all time favourite cartoon characters!
A wee Tigger!
Having gone into Utrecht town centre, I had (lots of steep bridges) the opportunity to test the “hill hold” feature on the bike. I’m happy to report it works. That’s going to be useful whilst in Dolomites and Balkans!
With 375 miles on the bike I booked the first service for the 29th April. I might overrun the initial 600 miles a little before that…
I’m at 580 miles on the baby tiger. My first service is on the 28th April. I will likely run over the 600 miles as well.
Apparently between 500 and 750 miles is preferred.
I always book my first service when I pick up a new bike. Done the 600 in a weekend a few times
