Tiger Sport 800 review [Visordown]

“It’s quite possibly Triumph’s most versatile on-road touring bike since the days of the 1050 Sport or the Sprint GT”

A very attractive looking bike. Good review, too.

I could be tempted by one of those. It’s light, powerful, confortable.
So far my old Sprint ST 1050 is still going strong, so no immediate change planned.

Rear seat space looks a trifle “cosy”…But I love the look and spec.

It’s a very nice - looking bike and felt so comfortable when I sat on one; I’ll be interested to read people’s reviews once they have owned one for a while.

Definitely on my radar, as a replacement for my Tiger Sport, love my Tiger sport, but also miss my 2020 Street triple. The TS 800 is looking to be a good combination of both.

As much as I dislike the cheap looking and reportedly highly reflective dash, I was prepared to just live with it. But after reading the owners handbook, I’ve just realised the suspension has also been done on the cheap ie no compression adjustment on the rear shock and no preload adjustment on the front. If my memory serves me right every Triumph I’ve owned to date has had preload adjustment on the front, its 2025 for god’s sake, could be a deal breaker for me. but I will test ride one nonetheless.
