Todays Bimble to Wiltshire

Today I had to visit a new cafe called ‘Unhenged Avebury’. Up the A4 past the Cherhill White Horse (very grey)

and just after the National Trust car park for Avebury you will find the Unhenged Cafe (https://avebury-club.co.uk/unhenged-cafe/). It is also a Cricket Club and it was great to see kids playing ‘tap and run’.

If visiting beware there are parking charges but if the cafe is used there is no charge. It stops people parking up and wandering into Avebury.

Food is brilliant and washed down with a coffee.

Onwards to Avebury past the stones.

On to Royal Wooton Basset Chippenham and home.

Wiltshire has lovely places to ride. A long time ago I lived in Wootton Bassett. After us riff-raff moved away they made it royal.

Probably the last time I actually had a ride with a group was through Wootton. It was a very large group too. Afghan Heroes…

Look closely, the group of riders runs all the way to the horizon
