Trident upgraded at no cost...nice

The usual gripe is manufacturers adding stuff we don’t need or want but will have to pay for. Not this time, apparently. Some optional extras are now standard, or will be from December, and the price stays at £7,895.

Whether we like it or not, they’ll come with cruise control, an up/down quickshifter, another riding mode (sport), a full colour TFT (marmite around these parts, I know) and one of those six-axis IMU doodads for lean-sensitive ABS and traction control. Whatever. Call me when you make a bike that remains upright when I get off it, Triumph.

Not sure about the new paint schemes for 2025. I quite like the yellow but not too keen on the other colours.

Some worthwhile changes there, although the dash looks unchanged to me, which is a shame. Hopefully they’ll roll them out to the Tiger Sport as well - it would seem crazy to offer cruise control on the Trident but not the touring version.

It does seem to rule out the new 800 being a version of the Trident/Tiger Sport though.
