He is Olympic Gold medal winner, World Cup winner, 3 times German-Austrian Ski Jumping Week winner (traditional annual tourney in ski-jumping).
But the speed is huge here. The effort in ski jumping will happen very quickly (just parts of seconds) … here the same needs to be even less. And if you miss that … with this high speed … you might not be able to control the jump (take it safely down). But he did that well.
