Today I’ve been doing some bike re-assembly in my underwear, I’ll spare you from the pictures! Last of parts arrived today so worked in short stints in the heat of conservatory to get forks, handlebars and rear lights back on.

This morning I went out early for a nice local blast on one of my favourite routes in the sunshine. It was great; perfect conditions and one of those days where everything seems to flow :+1: It’s put me in the very best of moods for the day.

Another day re-assembling bits of bike. This time put in new Nitron shock (as OEM one is losing damping for the second time and I wanted to put something on of better quality). When I bought new shock I said to the distributor who sold it me that the spring rate looked too low, sure enough, fitted it today and static sag is 10% (good) rider sag is 60% (very bad :frowning: ) As I first asked the distributor a month ago, you sure kg and lbs didn’t get mixed up? Sure looks like someone did.

Breakfast run at 07.30 to the Super Sausage.
No cars on the best bit of road ,A413 to Buckingham.
Back through the Chiltern Hills and a few photo stops along the way…!
Then filled up the bike .
That spoilt my day ….

Bugger all, 4 days in to my first dose of Covid, starting to feel on the up. Could’ve picked some grotty weather to catch it

Went on the Tiger to Accrington for a BikeSafe course with Lancashire police. Brilliant day out with great presentations, videos and first aid training, followed by an observed ride with feedback. Really good day out :grinning:

Have you changed modes on the bike? Makes a massive difference with changing the throttle/map to sports!

It was actually last week and not today, but I’ve only just got around to downloading the images.

I managed to get 3 bikes MOT’d in the one day, though it did need the assistance of a riding friend - and the patience of Treen’s in CREDITON who waited for my late arrival!

So, I now have 4 bikes road ready (or will be once I tax these 3) and am hoping that this weather holds beyond the 23rd of this month when I will put these 3 plus my Thunderbird Sport in the classic vehicle display at the Mid Devon Show.

I did fiddle with the options when I got the bike. Now I just leave it where it is. Fast road I think it is ? One back from race mode from memory .

Must just be me then. I did the course earlier this year and enjoyed it, tried to include the tips I picked up into my riding but now I feel less confident than I did. Find myself over thinking it and slowing down far too much for corners.
Need to relax more and just ride it!
