What You Been Doing With Your Triumph Today

Have a fantastic trip!!!

My tip when they come to a stop bend the wiper out, mostly when i do mirrors, the back shell just comes off.

Fantastic ride from Hoek Van Holland up to Roden in the North of Holland, after taking the overnight ferry .
An eclectic mix of bikes , me on my Speed Triple, best mate on an Aprilia Tuono V4 and another great friend on a Honda super scoot.

I took my Trophy out for a spin today for the first time in a few weeks as I’d been riding the Enfield Meteor of late, really needed it in the heat we’ve been having down south. The fueling issue is now gone from the Trophy, it’s running clean with the forte stuff and esso’s finest. I know a lot is said about ethanol in fuel, some saying no problems others the opposite, but my experience over the last few years is definitely placing me in the 2nd camp as far as fuel for the Trophy and my type of sporadic use.
After last years heat I bought a mesh jacket and have been using it on the meteor of late and loving it. Today, for the first time, I tried it on the trophy, although temps are down a good 5-6 deg today compared to yesterday it made riding the Trophy fun again, just my legs that were hot in the riding jeans…

I’ve got a Rukka mesh suit and it’s great at this time of year, prevents Betty Swallocks and makes riding a more pleasant experience especially on a bike with a fairing

I think I’ll opt for the sweaty bollocks and a dollop of talcum powder

Wrong forum mate

Commute for the Street Triple today, there was a lot of heavy rain during the morning whilst I was in work and the poor bike looked a bit dejected sat getting a soaking in the car park whilst I was dry inside!

I have a day’s leave today so I went out for a lovely half day or so on the Street Triple. I decided to venture into the Cotswolds, so my first stop was in Chipping Campden at Koti Autotalli for a coffee - got a lovely friendly greeting from the few people who were there, which is always nice! They had a very sparkly and much modified Triumph there today:

After that I decided to try The Woodshed at Eastnor Castle which was lovely to sit in the sun at and drink my coffee at, although the gravel car park was the stuff nightmares are made of .

Finally I called in at Dom’s near Leominster on the way home just because I was going past and I needed a cold drink.

All in all a lovely day with plenty of sunshine and just a few spots of rain :slightly_smiling_face:.

I was out with a group of “seniors” last Thursday, we rode to The Honey Cafe at Bronllys for lunch. Quite a steady pace which made a pleasant change from the guys I normally ride with. 6 bikes, Tiger 800, my Tiger 900 and 4 Bonnevilles. The pace certainly suited the smaller bikes better and made me consider my own, which has been on sorn for many months. This morning, I wheeled the old girl out of the garage and spent some time cleaning and prepping for MOT next week. She started as if I had ridden her yesterday and I can’t wait to get out with my new found buddies soon.
