I have just registered for this event on July 24th; my first big bike event and what will hopefully be a fitting celebration of one year (almost to the day, it was 23rd July I did my CBT) on two wheels. I am going on my own as @HelmutVisor is on dog - care duty. Are any other forum members or their female partners going? (Men are welcome too).
I have a few route options more pleasant than the motorway so should be a pretty decent day I hope
