Yorkshire Dales

I’ve been a bit lazy and not posted very much regarding rideouts recently so I’ll start with yesterday’s ride.

We’re over at our static van at Bolton le Sands overlooking Morecambe Bay and the Lake District, now that the site is open for the new season. This is the third trip so far, only two on the bike, and the first in good weather.

My usual route is via the A684 from Leyburn to Hawes then down to Ingleton on the Ribblehead road. Hawes is more or less closed for roadworks at the moment so a slight diversion up to Hardraw and on to Sedbergh, via Garsdale Head.

Yes, nice to travel that route in the sunshine - been a few trips in the rain, usually on the Street Triple
