Away to the Alps

Day 8. Final day. 289 kilometres, 181 miles

Uneventful quick trip home. Great weather, if a bit cold (2,5C) at the start. Home safe, great week!

Quite exciting going up actually. Wouldn’t do it in the wet! :see_no_evil::hushed:

I didn’t like to look of some of those drops. I suppose you get used to it but I’d have to remember “don’t look down” throughout the ride.

That’s exactly what @Hubaxe said when I showed him the footage… it’s also very narrow - fortunately I didn’t encounter any traffic. :upside_down_face:

Perfect road for a full on sports bike!

Hi, I had a busy week end so I wait for now to add a few words.
It was a real pleasure to have Wim at home for a few days.
The 2 days ride made me wonder why I don’t do that more often, moreover living in such a suitable area for travelling around.
The full day riding under the rain was not fun, but not a problem. And the second day was just brilliant.
Then we also had the chance to meet the Mouse and see how human he is :slightly_smiling_face:
I even onboard Wim in a evening to Lyon in a bar where we were the oldest guys and less tatooed, to listen to some savage stoner metal  After that, we can call each others “friends” for sure.
