Bad time for Tesla Drivers

Might just be a red herning. I’ll get my coat…

That went well then…rule britania

I menationed sqabbling over charging at home before but how much power to charge EVs can one house actually provide? Next door they have four cars (not EVs) as the daughters both drive and still live at home. Some people will have to use chargers elsewhere to top up their cars when home charging isn’t available, just because of the logistics.

I realise it’s possible to work around these issues, and they’re hardly showstoippers for electric, but they’re still valid considerations.

Perhaps they went out of business because they were over charging.

After you with the coat, Alan.

IIRC Harry Metcalf (Harry’s Garage on yt) has had a 3 phase supply fitted which on a cost to install would exclude most people in an urban area.

My son has his own Electrical engineering company just outside Stockholm, the regional development office have specified that all new builds have ev chargers installed during construction, so he’s got an open ended contract with three of his employees permanently on wiring new properties and installing chargers.

Apparently the Tory government promised them £100 million but never paid up…what a surprise

Maybe the reason to look at historic vehicles.

My theory is that the government realise they are on a no hoper with this ev bulls**t and are kicking the can down the road for Keith Lama to deal with in a couple of years.
