I had a previous model, the 955i Sprint ST. Brilliant bike took us all round Europe several times.

Might be worth seeing if you can get a footpeg lowering kit as an alternative to a higher seat? That way your arse to bars angle won’t be affected so there won’t be any extra weight on your wrists unless of course you’re thinking of fitting bar risers too?

@Littleade Good point, the bike does have aftermarket adjustable foot pegs but they are on the lowest setting and I don’t know how they compare with standard pegs. 
Does anyone know the standard height off the ground for the Sprint GT 1050 by chance?
