Motorcycle Art

Wow, love this guys drawings, @Iron . There are certainly some very talented and skilled artists out there! Keep this thread rolling…

Scott Jacobs, one of the more established US artists. Sell more, cost more, who knows. This New Jersey born South Dakota (I’ve no idea where these places are) artist certainly produces some of the very best colourful photorealism pictures.

He’s HD’s officially licenced artist along with Chevrolet and Ford. He’s also licenced with Elvis Presley Enterprises and with Marylin Monroe Estates. Nice.

He used to do a lot of chrome work, not quite up to Hajime Sorayama’s stuff, but bloody nice

Go have a look.

Deep pockets required if you’d like an original or two.

Scott Jacobs’ work is amazing, @Iron ! I know I’ve seen it many times but didn’t know the artist. Here’s some U.S. Geography for the day. Also, Sturgis is in South Dakota way towards the southwestern very close to Wyoming.

And to get a sense of scale, @Iron

Takes me back to Easyriders mags with Dave Mann. :sunglasses:

Hans Sures, a London based chap who is really getting to be an expert at what he does. The way the colours are laid down is really quite difficult to achieve.

I like how he frames his subjects, they give a sort of intimate quality with a story in there somewhere

Another one to go look at and break open the piggy banks for

I quite like Sures’ style, Iron.

Cor, quite like those. I’ve never seen these before. Really has captured it all in those pictures. Nearly every painting brings back a memory.

I couldn’t see Nerg the nail.

I’ve just done the new tyres thing so you can guarantee he’ll be waiting for me once I get out there

Not much to say about this guy. Peter Hutton. He does mostly car illustrations but the freehand details are fine indeed on his motorcycle studies

You can order prints and greetings cards I think. Just the job if that happens to be the thing you need.

Go have a peep, and while you’re there tell him I sent you. On his site hit the ‘products’ tab and click A1 prints. The cars are scrumptious. Enjoy.

This is John Lowerson who will draw, paint and make you anything, it seems, that your heart desires. His watercolour paintings are really quite nice (nice is a good word for them I think). He’ll sell you an original for what would normally be the price for a print.

There’s all sorts available on artfinder

And even more printed stuff from t shirts to stickers on redbubble

It’d be worth contacting him and getting him to do one of your bike. Another artist well worth raiding the piggy bank for. Personally I like his WW1 fighters.

And a night that burned like fire… great pic

Only just seen this thread. Fantastic subject, thanks for launching it @Iron :slightly_smiling_face:

Another beaut. Do you sell any of these or are they all exhibited in your house and garage?
