Wazzed down most of the day so had it delivered.

Nice one Colin, I hope the weather improves enough for you to get out for a ride before the gritters are sent out (assuming they have some in Kernow?) :+1:

Happy new bike day.
Hope you get some dry weather next week.
We’ve had the gritters out for at least two weeks now, dry roads but the bike still ends up powder coated in white!

Very nice. Not seen that colour before, I like it.

Yep, only real competition to the XR is the V4 Multistrada, and as previously commented me and Ducati ended in acrimonious divorce.

Don’t see why you must have the monopoly on beemers (and short legs)

Yeah, first time back on Bridgestone’s for MANY years. Been a Metzeler man for a while now, they feel good from mile 0, the days of release agent are gone now I think.
But point taken, a slippery time of year anyway. :+1:
(And BMW limit revs/power via the ecu until 1st service, not that you need much to get it wrong. :face_with_peeking_eye:)

Rarely get the gritters out down here in west Cornwall, and even then mostly on the A30 and a few other A’s. Farmers tractors are the bigger pain.
Moving down from Notts 20yrs ago I’ve noticed how different winters are here, mostly mild, grey and wet (a bit depressing), fewer crisp frosty blue sky days.

Better pics and a short review might follow sometime soon.
Fitting of fender extenders and rad guards a more pressing priority. :slightly_smiling_face:

I remember a couple of very wet, grey miserable winters in North Devon back in the 80’s.
We seem to be quite lucky with the cold but sunny days up here in Yorkshireland.
