Is that Rusland church DCS?
very nice, even the brass patent plate and ‘made in england’ sticker too
I am really feeling the need to have something like this in my possession.
Could have had the decency to badge it as a Kawumph, the myopic “i used to have one of those” brigade are confused enough already.
A good idea for a thread @DCS222 . Next time I come across something interesting I will definitely post.
Blimey, how big was the bloke riding it - look at the size of his helmet
Except it’s a Kawasaki W series!!
I hadn’t realised that the first pic was a re-badged Kawasaki!
Why would anyone do that? Surely if you wanted a modern Bonneville you’d just buy the new Triumph version. Buying and repainting a Kawasaki isn’t going to be cheaper.
Even the V registration plate was done in black and silver (when did that end? ) It was a very convincing imitation… as has been pointed out higher up the thread, the casual walk past, the myopic or the uneducated (I think I’m all three) wouldn’t pick it up at all… I bet the rider has a right laugh with it!
Must say it’s pleasing on the eye and done well
Here’s another fine looking and sounding bike… loads of fun.
Very nice, but my eye is drawn to the double cans… which I would prefer to be slightly smaller
I like big cans…
I believe the exhast downpipes were modelled on the designer’s own intestines.
'kin 'ell, nice but worth 50 Bonnies? meh…I’ll take the Bonnies…
