I watched “The history of Rock!” tonight… but this was a highlight!
Oh dear. I did contemplate going to that. Glad I saved my pennies.
It was alright really… plenty of talent… the mix was a bit out, too much volume on the bass end of the spectrum, fluffed it a little so that the vocals weren’t as crisp as they should be and the lass playing guitar had quite a dark tone that got a bit lost in it all. My Mrs wasn’t keen on Moby Dick, but there was a couple of drummers in the crowd that were up for it… I just think overall, they were a little lost in a big venue, if it had been in a rock pub, it would have been awesome!

Drummers like drum solos, not many other folk do!
Every time I have been to a gig at the Coro I am ill for a few days. Don’t think they sell enough beers to keep the pipes clean.
