TMF Bike Meet October 2024

Break out the thermals! The weather up here in the Northern hemisphere is on the turn but the TMF bike meet remains on the calendar all year round. Plenty of hot food and coffee on offer at Coopers Yard this Sunday.

Bah! Missed that one.

Anyway… if I don’t meddle with the Mz then count me in, if I do then can someone come in a van???

Of course. Someone even turned up on a Harley the other week and we hardly took the piss at all.

What is TMF?

You’re on it now.

To me TMF is always going to register in my brain as TheMissendenFlyer so it takes me a couple of seconds to untangle my brain to get the alternative use of that TLA.

Ah good one! Forgot about him but you’ve just planted a seed there! It’s be like a record someone sings in your head that you just can’t get rid of now!

Agadoo
I will leave it there.

So that Trumpet with the tank that is painted like a Royal Oilfield has a 17 inch front wheel with a 140 Continental rear tyre on it.
Do the knobs work either way round unlike a road tyre tread?
Or have I just got it wrong ?
I’m asking as I’m still thinking about rims and tyres for a future build and this might give me a few more options.
