Brilliant roads and scenery, Andy, and it looks like just the bike for it.
I think its going to be decent all week, at last we might just get a bit of summer
I am hoping so; working all week and next weekend so at least some nice commutes I hope. I have the week after that off and have a few nights booked at a campsite on Wales so it’s my fault if the weather returns to rain then .
Fingers crossed it lasts if it does I might get another wee tour in before its too late
I hope it does, I’m riding the WAW in 10 days time…
World Association of Wrestling?
Wild Atlantic Way, Ireland?
I had to look it up but it looks epic
Fingers crossed if it stays good enough I might be around Connemara next weekend. Schools back too so happy days!
It is epic. This will be my 5th tour on WAW. I’m leading 4 couples on four bikes around anticlockwise. My uncle lived in Bantry and I can see why he loved Eire so much.
Today I’ve been preparing for two nights away in the Yorkshire Dales from tomorrow, thought I’d try and make the most of the promised summer we’re forecast this week. First job was to book somewhere to stay, followed by planning some rough routes, then off to fill up bike with petrol so I didn’t have to do it in the morning, oh, and whilst there to get some essential supplies to put in my panniers…
Today I rode the tiger into the Liverpool cruise terminal. A strange location I hear you say. Well my grandson left two cuddly toys on the cruise ship we were on a week or so ago, so I called over to rescue them. They were well pleased to be on their way home
Brilliant
Any excuse…
After watching 75 or so tractors come through the village for a charity do, got the TNT out to get some more miles on.
A misty Duddon Estuary from Kirkby moor.
When you realise what the badge stands for
What fantastic views
Thanks Ade, so do I!
We met Brian and Sue in Bala on their way to Holyhead. Rose and I have been following them on youtube for a couple of years now, they holiday like we do and swap info between us.
I know that bloody rain followed them at least as far as Malin Head, a place I know quite well, as the rain was fairly heavy when we last visited in 2018.
