Today I have mostly been

It may not be stylish but it sure does look comfortable.

One of those occasionally comes to a bike meet near us (with a rider). I had to Google what it was; it’s certainly a strange and very heavy - looking beast.

Got out on the Suzuki for a few hours, nice.

Although slightly surreal

Nice set of Pullers in the end

If that’s the size of the nest, I don’t want it shiting on my visor.

Fajitas for tea.

I have been out and about on the Fireblade today for a few hours, about 80 miles locally; the road surface has got so poor on one of my favourite roads that I might strike it from my “favourites” list which is a shame but it’s not very relaxing scanning for huge craters all the time - the part that has been “repaired” is one of the worst bits :person_facepalming: :astonished:.

I have just undertaken the faffery that is strapping luggage to a bike with very little tail…I can see the appeal of Helmut’s Multistrada with its luggage…especially because there’s room for my stuff in the huge panniers too so he does all the carrying . It’s the Striple’s turn to go camping this time though :+1:.

It’s the first time I will have used these but just some straps to tidy up and hopefully they’ll be good to go.

Cheers Andy, Carbs need synced cos its hanging a little, and I’m going to try a larger main jet, I’m at 600 miles run in and creeping up the revs, top two gears seemed like they might want it.

Today I have delayed my little camping trip by a day. I have ridden in the rain all summer it seems like, (which I actually don’t usually mind that much) but just couldn’t face a day in this today.

I may get out on the Fireblade locally later as it’s only raining lightly here but have lost the will a bit this morning which isn’t like me at all, I am feeling grumpy :grimacing: .

So it’s you that got the good weather then today .

That weather forecast is enough to make any biker grumpy.

Not for long

Oh  that’s rubbish.

Every time I’ve had a free day this year it’s pissed down and I just can’t be arsed to ride in the rain. One thing I have noticed is when I actually managed to get out on the Tractor there doesn’t seem to be as many flies splattered on either the bike or my visor afterwards. Is this just me?

Found a decent parking spot at Marske by the Sea - obviously some GS riders beat me to it.

It’s not just you.

I rode the LC to work today for the first time but made sure my PikeyProof disc lock alarm was on

What about Pikey with a van…

I went out to a bike shop near oxford, Kings two wheel centre. I thought they were really friendly and helpful and they’ve got a helmet city branch attached. They were also very friendly and helpful. I think I’ll be back.
I had a seat on a royal enfield super meteor, with my other half as well. It looks a step up in quality from the interceptor. It’s a lot more feet forward than my meteor and a lot heavier pushing it around, 241Kg vs 191Kg, but still lighter than my trophy.

I’m still not sure about it. Perhaps a test ride will help?
Afterwards, we headed to Otmoor RSPB reserve for a walk around. We were lucky at sunset and a bittern took flight nearby. I was a bit too slow with the camera however I did catch a meteor though. :person_shrugging:
