Holy sheet…
Just sat reading and I heard a noise down our chimney, looked across and the BIGGEST feckin hornet I’ve ever seen came flying out of the fireplace towards the window… it must have been 45-50 mm long and had clearly been to the gym…!
Thankfully managed to let him out into the wilds… Do not run into him on a bike, he would make a BIG bang/ Splat…!

that’s not an insect, it’s too big, it’s probably a drone.

As Finland joined to EU my parents moved to fully organic farming, no chemicals etc. used. That was the only way to survive. And selling products directly to local (small scale customers) without any middleman.

We have these 3 types of bees on our farm. Those are big but harmless.

Wild flowers…

At least you won’t have to pay VAT Eric, so that’ll save you 20%

It’s bollox isn’t it? 11 degrees here today, nearly half what it was earlier in the week. At Batting central yesterday the going was soft yet again, back to no roll and mud/plugged balls after the downpours on Wednesday night. Buggies arn’t allowed off the paths yet (been that way for over 6 months now) so if I was a buggyist I’d be a bit miffed not being able to drive to my ball, but it serves the lazy gits right  Fekkin Audi drivers of the golf course they are.

Think we’ll loose loads of members when the renewals are up at the end of the month as people dom’t want to pay 12 months membership when the course is closed for 2 months of the year and virtually unplayable for at least another 4 over the winter

Well we’ve had more than our fair share of rain in Cornwall so far this year…

Cycled up to car show in Ulverston today to see if there were any bikes. There was a few and I bumped into a couple of mates I’ve not seen for ages so was a good 20 mile ride in sunny weather :grinning:

Landy picture just because :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Me too. My best mate at school had one. He bored it out, changed the sprockets and stuck wide bars on it. Damn thing went like a little rocket.

I couldn’t afford one. Had a Honda SS50. My self esteem never really recovered.

I don’t think mine was that clean. I had a blue one. POS it was but that was my first sense of freedom - marvellous.
