On the telly at the weekend they were saying NW England had over 200% of average rain in August. It has more or less pissed it down since 
And mostly accompanied by southerly / south westerly gales off the Irish Sea…

Oh well, at least our scenery’s better than East Anglia. Trouble is, we can’t see it for the f*****g rain.

Yep, you get the scenery and I get the decent weather. I think East Anglia is officially the UK’s driest region.
The North Norfolk coast is rather lovely though

Just at the moment I would trade a bit of scenery for the chance to get out on a nice dry bike ride, so I reckon you’re the lucky one.
