Had a trip to Mid Wales Airport after my daughter bought me a flight experience for my Birthday last year.

The journey there was a tad fractious with roadworks, breakdowns and tractors a plenty culminsting with a long tail back on the A5 around Shrewsbury but much more fun on the way back via Church Stoke and Craven Arms

Nice pilot who knew his stuff and who now lives on the llyn peninsula after being a horse farrier for over 40 years.

Saw some great views of Lake Vernwy, Powis Castle and other places in our hour long circular trip.

Ordered a puncture repair kit. Never had one, but did not want to jinx my upcoming trip.

I got one of those, worked on my lads car tyre ok… but check the quality of the knife… absolute PoS as I recall!

I also carry a Leatherman at all trips - well sharp!

So do it to puncture bikers faster than me (most of them are)

I have got the same repair kit, but haven’t had occasion to use it yet. :crossed_fingers: Has anyone else used one of these?

I’m hoping I shan’t get the opportunity, but have read good reviews…

I have a puncture repair kit that I always carry. To be honest I can’t remember what brand it is, but hope to never have to use it.

I also carry a battery air pump just in case I need a little bit of air or to boost the capsules in the event of a puncture.

Yup, carry one of those too.

I have the Gear Gremlin ‘string’ kit.

It works, I’ve used it twice, just using the gas bottles supplied to get some air back in the tyre, and that was OK to get me home.

Yes. A few of my own and a couple for others. Good kit, paired with a pump which runs off a socket on the bike.

I carry this exact one, different brand but identical. Used it loads on bikes and cars with 100% success rate.

I’m sorry @BrownMouse , but every time I read your posts (and I’m loving them), I keep imagining that your moniker is that of my favourite cartoon hero voiced by David Jason

In deep cover, acting as a motorcycle tourist exploring the regional borderlands of European superpowers, our hero tracks access roads and pivotal municipalities and conurbations… for his research has led him to follow the slowly dissolving sticky-prints of the world’s most notorious super-villain Baron Silas von Beigefront… and Brown Mouse could never allow the machinations of evil to stretch their webbed fingers and clasp the unwitting societies in a relentless squeeze of power!
