Burnouts are fun
Today I have concluded that a common language is of little help when trying to understand a foreign country.
It’s similar, not common. The fekkers can’t even spell proper.
God bless the USA and god help the rest of us…
Today I have mostly been amazed that a lying, conniving, manipulative, misogynist, abusive convicted felon was overwhelmingly re-elected president of a powerful nation.
I agree. Why is it that the very worst examples of humanity so often get elected to positions of power: Trump, Putin, Netanyahu, Orban, Bolsonaro and many others? What is it about people that so many want to be led by these monsters? It makes you despair.
Feeling comfortable for the first time in 2 weeks, after a cracked molar was removed yesterday and treatment for a jaw abcess started…
You didn’t mention Kierdolph Starmler, was that deliberate?
Because that cackling airhead was a better option?
As far as I’m concerned just about anybody is a better option.
Not only is the man a foul example of a human being, he’s also incredibly dangerous.
Incredible that these were the best options out of a nation of millions!
The Republicans seem to have packed their trunk and set off for the Whitehouse with a Trumpety Trump, Trump, Trump Trump.
We have some good American friends who are pretty mature and well educated, they voted for Trumps party but not for Trump.
You can’t have one without the other unfortunately…!
…arriving in Coniston. It’s very dark.
I hope you have a pleasant time, it is the land of the romantic poets… I hope you receive similar inspiration whilst here!
But will he be wandering lonely as a cloud?
Clouds are never lonely round here… talk about poetic licence
Staggering more likely. The Black Bull is serving a fine selection this evening.
They used to do a rather nice stout, better than a Guinness in my book…
Well yesterday actually.
Co -pilot for 10 hours as we drove from Hertfordshire to Craigellachie in the north of Scotland. Catching up with an old school ( ! ) friend.
The roads were actually clear for a change. Had cloud all the way until we got north of the Cairngorms where we saw the sun for the first time in 2 weeks …!
Have enjoyable breaks @Oldskool and @Octoberon
