If you go Sunday to Thursday they do a meal deal. £14.99 for a starter, main and naan or rice. A poppadom each with the dips, the above plus a pint of Cobra is normally around £41 for 2. You get slightly less than if you pay off the full menu but even then we find it too much.
Yeah, the nails were in a different tin.
I just made a new scratchplate for my (single neck) SG and converted it to P90’s involved a little bit of wood removing easily done with a sharp chisel. Would rather that than risking chipping it with a router! And the luxury of a big CNC machine to make the actual schatchplate
Love p90’s
She’s got snarl and sizzle baby!
Traveled oop North to Yorkshire to catch up with one of my wife’s old friends who has been having oncology treatment.
We were both amazed by how she has recovered from being at deaths door. The NHS have done an amazing job for her. She is not ever going to recover fully and will have ongoing treatment, but her life expectancy has been extended thankfully…
Great news that she will have a decent quality of life
Waiting for a table at my favourite seafront café. It’s the hawkers market today, place is rammed. Wife loves it, she will no doubt turn up shortly with a bagful of clothes, often good names such as Zara, never pays more than 3 euro an item. And they’re rebuilding the beach ready for summer.
Lucky you mate. It looks lovely in the sunshine.
The former I should hope, Alan!
Well, not an epiphany, it seems. There’s a forest fire raging about 40 miles down the road, villages being evacuated, the whole nine yards. That’s where our weird cloud originated…
Gone on up to Whitby, over the moors and via Goathland. This is where they filmed the old TV series , Heartbeat. It’s fictional name Aidensfield…
Had to stop for a pit stop outside the garage ….Some of you may remember the series with Nick Berry.
It was wild up on top of the moors with sunshine and showers.
last time I’ve been there there was a Police Ford Anglia in front of the garage (from the serie shot there)
That’s a great shot of the rainbow
I bet it was wild up on the moors - no shelter up there.
Travelling up to Northumberland today (well yesterday now) and it was pretty windy on the Tiger.
Stopped at Whitley Bay for tea and cake in Spanish City as mentioned in Dire Straits “Tunnel of Love”. ( Knopfler grew up in nearby Blyth)
Another stop at Amble for a cheeky pint in the Fish Shack. Booked a table for Saturday - looks like the catch will be fresh
We are still digging … no gold in sight yet …
Whitley bays fish and chip shop got a mention as one of the top 10 fish and chip restaurants this week. Worth a visit?https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/news/23405679.whitley-bay-hartlepool-fish-chip-restaurants-uks-top-ten/
I guess that the area used to film “Vera Mysteries”.
Usually people living there are not really convinced bu the actress fake north accent I’ve heard.
