Today I have mostly been

You are my new hero Andy ! :grinning:

Gone to the Dark Side, also known as Ducati Manchester, where a herd of new Panigales are waiting for collections by their new owners.

Do they come with a free app to tell them where the nearest petrol station is?

Well over £200k!

38mpg according to the people at Ducati. Obviously you don’t buy one for its economy. I tried one, they’re amazing pieces of machinery. The horizon arrives remarkably quickly…

It wouldn’t surprise me if that dealership sold more Ducatis than any other in the uk as there seems to be a shed full of dispisable income and posh houses behind walls and gates for miles around Manchester.

True, It’s the PCP deals that do it. Martin, who runs the place, said he can’t remember the last time someone came in to buy outright. They’re a nice bunch in here, too. They’ve got a lot of loyal customers. Mr Fogarty was in the other week to collect his new Diavel.

They would say that  like you say if you’ve got loads of money fuel costs won’t be an issue as they probably drive a car that does significantly less than that anyway, but having to repeatedly stop for fuel would grind my gears in the end, assuming of course they rode them for more than a handful of miles each time they went out.

I just did some digging and that figure may actually be quite conservative in the real world. @MrsVisor will be pleased to know the Blade is even more economical but the Ducatis are doing over 40mpg. I suppose that’s the result of lean engines and tight Euro regs. The Duke has a 16 litre tank, which should equate to a good 120 miles or more between stops. On a sports bike you want more frequent stops, anyway.

Triumph say the fuel economy for the 1200 explorer is 55.4 mpg. Up until now I managed an average of 49,5 mpg. With a 30 litre tank that would give me a range of 325 miles.

Been ‘Up North’ for the last few days. Nearly got a nose bleed.

Woodhouse Eves Memorial but stayed in Derby.

St Pauls next to the Memorial, which is built over a cave.

I gotta say that everyone up there and around Derby were friendly, happy to have a chat, even the scooter riders on the pavement in Roadman clothes waited and actually said thankyou as they passed.
If I have to move, I’ll be moving North. No bother. Thankyou North people…over… :slightly_smiling_face:

Sorry Iron but Derby aint Norf, it’s still darn sowf. You need to go another 40 miles or so to where they stop talking posh. When you can’t understand what people are saying, the beers got a head and you get black pudding with your breakfast you’re norf. Maybe.

And if your wheels are no longer attached to your vehicle, you are in Liverpool.

And if the men are wearing skirts you’ve gone too far

Or they have…

If your vehicle’s still there - with or without wheels - you’re probably in Sint Ellinz. If you were in Liverpool the vehicle wouldn’t be there at all - you might find the charred remains on a “bomdy” somewhere …

Dont come up here, its rubbish, honest. :upside_down_face:

Actually, most of the weekend…

This weekend I’ve been relaxing at the in-laws, nice to get away from the normal routine but it’s 2 hours car drive :frowning: each way, which was in glorious sun so was wishing I was on bike. No worries though, Mrs Mouse has a gap in her work rota and the forecast for coming week is for more fine weather, so now I’m home I’ve just booked a cottage for 3 nights in mid Wales as a bike trip for us
