The cottage sounds great - relaxing at inlaws though… ?
I reckon you could start a new trend with those blinds
I’ve been at the BSB at Donington.
Lovely weather, great racing and a free ticket as well…!
I really irritated myself, when I popped out to get some sandwich ingredients, I looked back at the window, and I put one of the F#%#%rs the wrong way round… it took my wife’s wisdom and persuasive prowess to stop me going back in to rip it down and start again
Today I had a lovely commute to work and back on the Blade whilst my Street Triple was having its new tyres fitted . Summer boots and gloves on and less than 4 layers…magic
.
Sorting out a visit to the lake district for August.
4 chaps (3 triumph, 1 Kwak…) and hotel is £420 for 2 rooms, 2 nights.
Can’t wait!!
Not jealous. not…
Where you planning?
The kellbank Hotel as its not too expensive. Also, one of the guys has been there and said that its ok.
I can bring up a couple of speed rs 1050 bits you can have too!
Usual gig, you give to charity (what you want) and they are free.
The glow from across the road will keep you all warm!
I did try and reply to your email about the bits but it all went wrong
All set up with luggage cheers What were the other bits?
3 screens (puig and genuine) carbon tank/battery cover, carbon lower fairing, triumph rear bag (and harness) dark headlight covers, full set of sw motech panniers (never used), other bits and bobs I’ve forgotten about.
Edit: rear wheel socket, rear wheel finisher, rear axle slider, brake pads etc…
Haven’t got the SC pipe laying around have you … asking for a noisy friend …!
Cheers for the offer but got the slider/finisher and stuff.
Happy with bodywork as is.
Last two + months I have been slaving on the house, haven’t hardly had a minute to myself. Missed the banter for sure, trying to get the inside jobs done before any decent weather arrived. Well done to all with new bikes, new adventures and successes. Commiserations to all who’ve lost loved ones of the two or four legged variety.
Dining room almost finished, still got a reclaimed slate fire surround and hearth to put in, people who owned the house before us really butchered the character out, it’s been a monumental effort to get even half sorted.
Last few days I’ve managed to finish the new workshop with Mrs W and get the paint on yay! Still lots to do, guttering, locks etc, but she’s up, 20ft by 10ft. Only managed to use the bonnie for work and she’s been generally neglected so did a quick oil change and new rear pads (1stuck brake piston was a billy bastard…gggrrrr) anyhow nice to be back.
Nice post @PatW . It is always a bigger job than expected when you move house. Now you are getting there you can sit back and enjoy.
Just the upstairs left Wessa, but it’s mainly just paint thankfully mate.
Brilliant work…! I know what’s it’s like. We’ve done ours over the last 13 years, bit by bit. It’s relentless but worth it once it’s done. Great work …!
Mrs W has a schedule worked out, she keeps me going with Carrot (cake) and stick, stick mostly
I’d managed to avoid the dreaded Covid until 3 weeks ago but succumbed just as I started to frame up the workshop, still rough now but I soldiered on and it was a good distraction though I sparked out in the recliner every night by 9. Poor old sod
Good to see you back on the forum, Pat. I wondered where you had gone.
Yeah mate, still in the “not dead yet club”
