Yay … I am a rufty tufty biker…

The paracetamol worked…!

A quick 60 mile round trip to my usual Sunday haunt, The Super Sauage .
Loved it. What a bike the Speed RS is.
Only my second ride this year due to the weather and a few home issues, so thoroughly enjoyed it.
Left at 07.00 Back home by 10.45 when all the Sunday drivers were just starting off along with the cycling fraternity…!
Mr and Mrs Plod were
in there eating breakfast when I arrived, before they probably went off to spoil someone’s weekend…!

Bike had it’s MOT this afternoon but as the morning was sunny I decided to turn a 5 mile ride into a 105 mile ride. No pictures as I’m sure by now you’re bored of my photos of a gorgeous Triumph motorcycle with a backdrop of verdant fields, rolling hills and blue skies with fluffy white clouds  Though I certainly don’t get bored of riding through such

The past week has turned into a rather expensive one as bike expenses exceeded a grand. :scream: (Insurance £390, MOT + road tax £146, breakdown cover with Europe included £190, rear tyre £176, chain and sprockets £155)

Hopefully for the next 12 months I don’t need anything more than oil and a set of tyres. Oh, and petrol, lots and lots of petrol.

Put the last 150 miles before first service on my Tiger.

No pictures as I’m sure by now you’re bored of my photos of a gorgeous Triumph motorcycle with a backdrop of dead flat Dutch countryside…

I’ve clocked 300 miles on my tiger, so half way to the first service. Going for another ride tomorrow, so more miles to add :grinning:

Quite nice today actually. Lots of nice little dikes along the coast of the former Zuyderzee, one really big (and long, 20 miles) dike, and through the (relatively) newly reclaimed Flevopolder. I actually caught a glimpse of a Sea Eagle there… :grinning:

I took my Street Triple and Helmut the Tuono and we had a good ride out today. We did 228 miles; I have put the bulk of the route on here.

Our first stop was Glanusk Service Station at Sennybridge, which has a nice cafe, so we purchased fuel for ourselves and the motorcycles. We then rode to Devil’s Bridge to meet a friend, incorporating the Black Mountain Pass (the “Top Gear Road”) and finally rode home via Crossgates. It was hot and sunny at home, but about 5c cooler and cloudy for the majority of our ride, nevertheless it was very pleasant riding weather. A great day out was had :slightly_smiling_face:.

The perspective on this one is weird; it looks like I have an extended swingarm and skinny wheel .

Truly. The last time I saw one of those “flying doors” was off the island opposite Shieldaig. Rather more impressive scenery, I will admit… :joy:
